WOW guys apt-listbugs is critical package. Just because stable servers don't track the latest releases. And wait until the releases is stabilized doesn't mean they don't use ubuntu.
I rely on apt-listbugs for my testing of upcoming pre-release. It seams ubuntu has removed apt-listbugs from the main package list. This makes so I can NOT safely install pre-releases. Upgrading ubuntu severs is always a dicey afair for me. I NEVER upgrade ubuntu as one shot upgrade. It is risk I simply can not take on servers. FINE!! What needs to be done to make apt-listbugs refer to ubuntu bugs? How much difference is there between ubuntu and debian outside of main? apt-listchanges also refers to debian from my understanding and it is less important than apt-listbugs. apt-listbugs is used by server upgrade scripts to PREVENT / WARN of potentially dangerous upgrades. For the time being I have manually pulled debian's apt-listbugs and installed it. It still reports of potentially dangerous "debian" upgrades. -- Please remove apt-listbugs from Intrepid (universe) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/271314 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
