I am running squeezeboxserver Version: 7.5.2 - r31488 on Ubuntu 8.10. I have an issue with genre of mp3 files that are tagged with ID3v2.4 (ID3v1 ID3v2.4) not showing in the 'genre listing'. Any mp3 files tagged with ID3v2.3 (ID3v1 ID3v2.3) do show in the 'genre listing'.
Is there some sort of incompatibility in squeezeboxserver with mp3 & ID3v2.4 (ID3v1 ID3v2.4) ?? All these files are tagged as Audiobook genre. It would appear that other genres are listed correctly.
