Thanks for your response gary. I have a requirement where I am confused between transactions and Explicit acknowledgement. The requirement is: When a consumer receives a message it do some processing with the message before acknowledging the message. And while processing the message it could get some exception, so in such exception cases message should be redelivered to the consumer. So here what should I use, transactions or explicit acknowledgement ? how to get redelivery of messages ?
