Just a note to all users who might have Python extensions installed.

With the move to LO4, the version of python that is included in LO was
moved to 3.x instead of 2.x, as can be found in LO versions 3.3.x to 3.6.x.

This means that those Python extensions, e.g. MRI, pycalendar, etc, that
were written for Python 2.x need to be rewritten in order to function on
LO4. If, for example, you see error messages relating to :

"invalid syntax" this often means using "print" as a statement, not a
function, or a whitespace inconsistency (tabs vs. spaces) which was
(fortunately) promoted to a syntax error in Python 3.

"you can point the author to http://python3porting.com/ which is very
useful... if you read carefully you can even figure out how to make
things run on both Python 2 and 3 (all Python code shipped with LO
should hopefully be able to do that)."
