Ah I see what you mean changing

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}.gz -f

to

RewriteCond 
/usr/local/apache2/docs/www.journeycheck.southwesttrains.co.uk/%{REQUEST_FILENAME}.gz
-f

works.
