Hi Tom, Did you have a look at this example: http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/ordering.html ? Then you can use a custom context function like in this example: http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/styles-context.html to modify the graphicZIndex according to your geometry type. This is how I went about that but there might be a more elegant solution.
