I have been using OpenOffice for a number of years and never had this problem occur.
when I try to print, the first page is fine; however, the second and subsequent pages are black with the margins covered with fine parallel lines about 1/8 inch (2 mm) apart. I tried printing the same pages with Abiword and Abiword printed them correctly. I am using OpenOffice.org 3.2.1 OOO320m19 (Build:9505) ooo-build 3.2.1.4 on OpenSUSE 11.3. I have completely uninstalled OpenOffice and reinstalled it, but the printing problem remains. I have changed printer drivers, Abiword prints correctly, but OpenOffice does not. Additionally, I completely reinstalled OpenSUSE 11.3 and OpenOffice; including reformatting my hard drives. The printing worked fine one time.
