Never before have i been more frustrated by an office suite in my entire life. It is the most half assed program i have ever had to use and i hope that i will never have the displeasure of using it again.
That's entirely up to you. You are free to use whatever tools you think is best for what you do, so please try another office suite. You don't really have to write here to do that, just do it.
And of course you are welcome back here if you have more questions about OpenOffice.org, for example in case you will try it again some time.
