I am setting up a new PC for home. I have been a user of Open Office for a short while and decided to in stall it again. The PC is a Dell 2.4 G P4 running XP home OEM. I have completely reloaded Windows after formatting. When I opened Open Office I was of course presented with the registration screen and answered that I had already registered. Now each time the PC reboots as I load more onto it I am continually being taken back to the registration script. I have tried some of the other selections but nothing seems to be breaking me out of this loop. Would it help to look in the registry for the key (must admit it's not something I really want to do without a clear idea of what needs to be changed) I have tried to find a reference to this type of problem in the FAQ but as yet I haven't succeeded.
