Subject: [USRP-users] query regarding rx_samples_to_file script

Hi,
I am using the script rx_samples_to_file for capturing the data through USRP
N210
I have some basic doubt regarding this script. It will be nice if some one can
explain them
The options:
1) rate -> corresponds to the final decimated data (through cic and hbf) used
to log to file ? Are there example scripts to individually control the
decimation through this stages.
2) freq -> the centre freq of the band of interest ? Is the down conversion
direct or heterodyne? If heterodyne how is the IF frequency and the cordic freq
decided? If the down-conversion is direct , are there example scripts available
to control PLL settings and the cordic register settings?
3) gain -> this corresponds to which gain stage->I suppose there are two/three
stages of gain boosting in the RF chain
4) How can we control the bandwidth of the filter before ADC .
I am asking these questions, since I am trying to collect some data with the
example scripts in the precompiled binaries for uhd which I am using.
I am still not familiar with the ways to write my own script c/python to
control each of the different knobs in rf and digital down converter chain.
Is such a script already available with some one and is ready to share ...
Regards
Sunil
