A little late, and maybe you've already figured it out, but I'll throw in my two cents anyways. I can think of only a couple causes for this. a) You entered the passphrase wrong - not likely as you keep trying it b) Your friend encrypts it to the wrong key (his own, perhaps?) I think your problem is probably b. When you sign an email, you sign it with your own key. When you encrypt an email, you encrypt it with the fingerprint of the person you are sending _to_. Von Fugal, webmaster extraordinaire P.S. Just when are the elections anyway? I've been keeping an eye on the website and haven't seen anything on when the ballots open. If I were webmaster, such information would be readily available. Go with your gut! Vote Von, I use Mutt!
