A CD drive, or a Floppy drive? The Quadra or Centris 610 should have  
both. Are the original disks on floppy, or CD? The SCSI id is set on  
the hard drive itself, usually by jumpers on the back or bottom. It's  
in binary, and I have always found it confuzing... No jumpers on it  
means ID 0. If your 610 still has the factory settings, the HD in it  
should be set to ID 0.
