I have tried unsuccessfully to run both Internet Explorer 4.1 and 4.0 on a Centris 650, 36 megs RAM, running 7.5.3 with Open Transport 1.1.1.
I replaced the original HD with a 1.3 gig that originally had OS 9 loaded. I did a clean install with 7.5 from floppies (no CD-ROM drive), but wonder if something left on the HD could be causing a conflict with IE. The program will install, but, when I try to run it, hangs up as soon as the Internet Explorer logo appears. Any ideas about the conflict? How can I get everything off the HD to start over? I had no luck initializing the HD from the 7.5 disk tools floppy. Thanks, Ted Parks -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
