This little program works OK on my Windows 10 laptop. When I pressed enter on a contact card file created with it, Windows 10 asked me which program I wanted to use to open it. It gave me Outlook 2016, People and Windows Mail and Contacts or something like that as options and when I selected Outlook 2016 it opened the contact card and I could have just saved it with Control+S.
One thing this little utility lacks is the options to enter addresses. Also, if you do find yourself having to enter contacts manually and sync contacts via an online account such as Exchange or Exchange Active Sync (Outlook.com) or I assume this would also apply to gmail, you could just use Outlook to enter and save th information. As soon as you do so in Outlook the information is uploaded/synced with your online account and the iPhone also syncs with this information hence any contacts you add this way automatically appear on your iPhone within a few minutes. Of course if somebody has an old phone which allows them to export all contacts as small contact card files, then opening them on an iPhone to save them may not be a bad option.
