I have over 50GB of free space. I'm on my 5th attempt right now. We'll see
what happens this time. The first 4 times I had the lightening cable
plugged in, this time I'm trying without it plugged in. I don't see why it
could make a difference, but we'll soon find out! LOL

I updated my first generation SE with no problems, but it has about 60 GB
free.If you have say less than 8 GB free you may be running into a memory
issue while it is going through the process. Have you tried updating through
iTunes Also, have you cleared the app switcher and rebooted? You probably
have, but just thinking out loud.

granting grace to others, I’ve never once regretted extending it.)" - Edward

  Hi All,

I'm trying to update my SE 2016 1st generation to the iOS14, but I keep
getting an error message stating that the download has failed. I'm not
having any internet service interruptions, so does anyone know what could be
causing this problem? This iPhone is compatible for iOS14, so I don't have
a clue why it won't. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
