When I attempt to connect to another computer(both have VNC) I get a timed
out message. I tried to ping the other computer and came up with nothing,
so then tried to ping myself and came up with nothing. Then I realized that
my norton firewall was on so I turned if off and again tried to ping myself.
This time it worked fine, however when i try to ping the other computer I
still dont get a reply(I have also pinged the other computer and it works
fine). Why can't these two computers talk? I live in a dorm room in
college and the other computer is in my room so they are all on the same
subnet.
