Hello Rosemary,

You didn't answer this question:
How are you trying to add photos to your iPod, are you syncing a selected photo album to your iPod through iTunes?

Have you tried syncing your photos to the iPod using iTunes by using this method below? This is how I sync my iPods.

To add photos to your iPod:
1. Connect your iPod to your computer using the cable that came with your iPod.

2. When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window, select it and click the Photos tab.

3. Select “Sync photos from” and choose an album or folder from the pop-up menu.

That's what I mean...the popup menu does not allow me to choose any album or folder... all grayed now

4. Choose whether to move all your photos and albums, or only selected albums. If you choose “Selected albums,” select the albums you want to add to your iPod.

NOTE: If you plan to move the photos from your iPod to another computer. You should select the option “Include full-resolution photos.”

Cheers,
Ronni

Hello Rosemary,

Have you used the Nokia Multimedia Transfer successfully in Leopard prior to getting your E71?

If not, are you using the latest version of Nokia Multimedia Transfer v1.4 Beta for Mac OS X 10.5.5?

What iPod are you using?

Recently I tried to add some photos to my ipod, no luck.

Some reading I did suggested there may be "strange" characters in my albums or files, so I've deleted all my ', &, - etc, but no joy. (They've been there all along..but hey...)
I think I updated Itunes and Iphoto since the last time

I've also recently got a new E71 (I know, I know but I don't make enough calls for the expensive plans, nor can I afford an iphone) The process for using the Nokia multimedia Transfer also chokes (sees no albums or events)

I've rebuilt thumbnails and database..no change any suggestions?
