Hi Rod I don't have any Adobe software installed on my machine, so I'm working "off memory" here,…so please bear with me,…
But in your User Library have a look in the following places/ (Your user library you can get to by holding down the Option key in the Finder, clicking on Go menu and Choosing Library (the icon sort of looks like a bank or something,..lol). In Library go to Caches. Remove (to the desktop) files that relate to InDesign. (which may be in an Adobe subfodler) or a main folder, or a com.adobe.indesign folder). In Preferences remove com.adobe.indesign.plist files to the desktop. In Applications Support look for folders that relate to InDesign and remove them to the Desktop. Restart and then see how InDesign goes. I had a feeling there was another location, but I can't remember what it was without seeing it,…but hopefully one of the above may help.
