libinput 1.9.4 is now available. This fixes a regression introduced in 1.9.3 where some key events got lost or arrived out-of-order. Two separate sources for the bugs, one is kernel drivers (and uinput applications) misbehaving in regards to the evdev protocol and not sending out SYN_REPORT events. The second source was a ordering issue inside libinput so shift+C arrived as C+shift instead in some cases. This is fixed by reverting to the previous event handling approach for key events. If you're on 1.9.3 right now, updating to 1.9.4 is highly recommended.
