I'm not sure if this is intended behaviour or a known issue, but when hosting
a MP game on a network (local MP games appear to be unaffected), computer
leaders are named after the host. This applies to both the name of leader as
listed in the side-bar as well as in the leader listings in the status table.
At first I thought this was a peculiarity of the Legend of Wesmere campaign
but it turns out that any MP game is affected. This is what I did to produce
the issue:
* Create a MP game (can be campaign or scenario with one or more computer
players).
* Other human players can be added but it turns out they are not necessary to
produce this error. They can be helpful in acting as a source of leaders with
different names, though.
* Observe in the status table that all computer players on the host are named
after the host. If there any other players connecting from other computers,
observe that the computer players are named appropriately in the status
table.
This might not seem like a big deal, but in Legend of Wesmere it does seem a
bit odd to find the enemy leader(s) (named as the host) insulting the
players.
I have tried to debug this myself, but the debug MSVC14 DLL is throwing an
assertion failure on vector iterators in an == operator (which doesn't appear
to cause a problem in non-debug execution).
Note in the attached screenshots Velon's name in both the host and the guest.
(Ordinateur means computer - this issue happens regardless of language used.)
