Dear all, Last year the French local organisation team tried out to have several awards during WLM 2012 (not only the best 10 pictures). We successfully had:
- Selected 1 picture per day as Picture of the day (this selection was more based on originality and diversity than quality or Wow) - The best sculpted gate - Jury's favorite - Contributors which illustrated the biggest amount of monuments The winners photos are http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2012_in_France/Winners(sorry descriptions are in french :() If you had (or are planning) such initiatives, feel free to share and comment -- Pierre-Selim
