I know it says it works with Win98SE, but does it really? I've had grief
with several pieces of hardware that were supposed to work with SE but
don't. Most of my problems have been USB devices, but maybe someone else
has experience with PCI devices.

Subject: Hardware:Kworld VS-TV878RF TV Tuner card

I bought this TV Tuner card a month or or two ago and have never
been able to get it working right.

The last attempt was uninstalling the drivers and software,
pulling the card and booting without it before installing it
again with the latest drivers and software.

That worked until I had to reboot the computer. Then I get the
following errors:

Cannot preview, maybe some program use same interface or
something wrong...

Cannot init Direct show interface...

If I uninstall the drivers and reinstall them, most of the time
I can get it to work until I reboot, then it's the same errors
again.

When it is faulted, device manager shows the drivers as
installed and working.

I'm running a fresh install of Win98SE with all the updates I
could find and DirectX 9.0c.

Does anyone have any ideas where to look for the problem. I've
already spent way too much time fighting this and I haven't even
tried to capture video! Nothing helpful on Google except that I
might not be alone.
