Maybe. But that rogue dir came with another two that I did see.
And I was able to copy the three of them (albeit seeing only two)
to my HD, still seeing only two and oblivious of the existence of
the third. It was only on copying the two (three) to "Easy CD Creator"
that the third dir showed in the list of stuff to burn and really surprised me.
I did close "Easy CD Creator" and repeated the whole operation and
it happened all over again. The rogue dir ONLY showed on the window
of "Easy CD Creator". BUT . . ., when the CD had been burned, the
rogue third dir was visible via Windows Explorer as if it had always
been visible.
Gotta say, I consider myself a power user, but had never seen
anything like this.
Time constraints did not allow me to investigate right there and then.
When I tried later to reproduce the phenomenon, couldn't. The third dir
was nowhere to be seen. It was, if I had to venture an opinion, something
that was done on downloading from the digital camera to the LAN HD.

Directories can be hidden in just the same way as files ! More likely
