Since my previous posting(s) were poorly written (and/or misconceived), I'd like to try and explain my point again.
Some coders think: "If it was hard to write it should be hard to understand, so that when people finally get it, they'll be amazed at how clever I am." Writing good comments can IMHO be achieved by urging developers to: * abandon above selfish line of thought * document interesting/curly hacks and complex code structure Hope I did better this time.
