Hello All,

As most of the email lists I frequent have, or are in the process of, moving
to Groups.io--which I find most useful--, I've decided to create
[email protected] to try and keep non-relevant traffic off other lists. When
the FT8 mode was announced, I was shocked to see the number of downloads in
July-2017 was >= 1500. That is quite surprising since I've not made any
significant changes in quite some time. I seriously doubt that the
[email protected] list will be high volume. However, if you have issues
installing, using, building WSJT applications (using JTSDK Win32 / Nix,
future OSX), bugs, or feature-requests, please post them to [email protected].

On a separate, yet related topic, I've started--don't get excited, it's
early days--work on the next major revision of JTSDK (Win32 / Nix / OSX).
More information will be added to [email protected] #Announcements section, as
it becomes available. In a nutshell, all current code (Win32 / Nix / OSX)
will be rewritten in the .NET Framework; C# WinForms for UI's (Windows to
start, Nix & OSX with Mono if feasible), and .NET Core for most console
applications. If you'd be interested in testing various packages / phases
within the solution (when available), have ideas, or feature requests, post
it to [email protected] under the hashtag #JTSDK-Dev. Keep in mind, I've just
started mapping out the framework, so there is a long way to go before
package testing is ready to roll. Even if you do not want to test code, you
should keep an eye on [email protected] list, as that is where the latest
information and documentation will be kept.

The basic structure will closely follow:
* Project Packages and Documentation source code will be managed on GitHub
* Binary storage (installers / contributed tools) will be on Sourceforge
* All Wiki's will be migrated from Sourceforge (and elsewhere) to
[email protected]
* [email protected] for all project communications, support, general
discussion, etc.
