Good evening Brendan,
Connect your IC-7300 into a dummy load and see if the fault occurs. If
not, reconnect your antenna.
Are you running your internal receive preamp? If so, turn it off, and
turn the built-in attenuator ON. If the problem clears, I can walk you
through the sequence of events.
