Hi.
Thanks for all the efforts that the dev team has put into the latest
version of WSJT-X. I have started doing my pre June VHF contest
preparations and noted some odd behaviour at times when using CAT
control with one of my Icom 706MkiiG's. When switching between 50
Mhz and 144 and 432 Mhz, at times the first digit of the frequency
seems to be dropped.
Ie. When switching from 50.313 FT8 to 144.174 FT8 the display on the
radio will at times show 44.174. Switching between HF and 50 Mhz
seems to work fine so it appears the extra digit for 144 and 432 Mhz
may be causing issues ?
I have never noted this behaviour before with this radio and I have
seen this behaviour with both a windows 7 laptop and windows 8 tablet
PC running WSJT-X version 2.2.1 a17eb9
This is not a major issue for me but I thought I should mention it.
(I often ran this radio without CAT control in the past and could do
so again in the future.)
I used the same radio, interfaces and tablet PC during the January
contest and switched between bands via CAT with an older version of
WSJT-X without issue. Using CAT and Split does make using FT8 easier
in view.
My apologies in advance if this issue has already been reported and I
have not seen the relevant emails.
