Hi,

   Did you mean the 'serialflow' attribute for the node? Generally this
   attribute will be set by customer themselves.

   So what value will make the deployment hang?

Thanks
Best Regards

Hi,

    I've been wrestling with install hangs when trying to install either
RHEL7, RHEL7.1, SL7.0, or SL7.1 for the last week or so. Turns out it's
due to xCAT enabling flow control on the console by default(these are
IPMI managed machines.) I know this has generally been discouraged in
the past due to bugs in the linux implementation of serial flow
control(
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Remote-Serial-Console-HOWTO/configure-kernel.html
)
It looks like this is still an issue, and xCAT should probably not
enable flow control by default even for these distros.
