The Linux fonts service cannot the OTF variant of the Linux Libertine font
family. Just update this service!

The Linux fonts service is related to libfontconfig. In
/usr/share/doc/fontconfig, or a similar place, you'll find fontconfig-user.pdf.
It will explain most things – related to libfontconfig, fonts.conf,
fc-cache/fc-list/fc-match. XeTeX is just another user of this service.
