"atimisc" is the driver for older* ATI cards/chips; supported chips
include the mach8, mach32, mach64 and ragepro, hence the "misc"
part of the name.

*any ATI card/chip older than the Rage 128 (supported by the
"r128" driver) or the Radeon (supported by the "radeon" driver).
To simplify installation there is also an "ati" driver which is
just a wrapper that knows which of these 3 to use to support a
particular chip.
