Cde Sithembewena, Mr Bhanga is a "communist" with a Cope membership. There are many participating in this forum who associate themselves with organisations reactionary to the ANC-led alliance while calling themselves communists. I want to clarify Nqaba on some technical but real issues. The SACP and its league are component members of the tripartite and progressive youth alliance. They, through all waged struggles, found it necessary to align themselves with the biggest union (Cosatu) and with the liberation movement (ANC). These organisations do not only share common programmes but also membership. For Nqaba to come with an internationalist party scape-goat is not Ayoba. If you differ with the ANC on ideology and programme, you as well differ with its allies and that is period. You should then know that almost 99% of the participants in this forum are members of the ANC, ANCYL, YCLSA, SACP, ANCWL, COSATU (through affiliates) thus will be incorrect for you to then assume that communists in other organisations should turn a blind eye on existing pragmatic alliances. We are not blind learners of Marxism-Leninism. The participants in these forum will not be blinded by selective quotes from Marx writings to suit your narrow agenda. You cannot insult a component organisation of the alliance using a platform created by another alliance component structure. That will be serious hypocrisy at its worst. I therefore request that your participation in this forum should remain within the confines of socialism and communism and not marketing documents of your organisation to us. Nqaba, You have freedom of association as enshrined in the constitution but you should not impose your association with others on others.
