Scott, I have to tell you that the reason that Jo got sick and the reason you don't like cranberry sauce is because you haven't had my husband's HOMEMADE cranberry & orange relish. It's not the stuff that is the consistency of jello. It's nothing but cranberries and oranges ground up together, combined with sugar and then allowed to "stew" in the fridge for at least a day (gotta allow the flavors to blend properly). When it's my husband's homemade stuff, there's nothing like it!
