The Baha'i Studies Listserv Hi, I mean the Bahá'í faith will not be divided like Christianism or Islam. My question is why God didn't make this before, for example, why Islam (or other religion)has sects?

Care to quote an authoritative statement to this effect? The only statements along this line that I am familiar with simply say that they will come to naught, not that they won't exist. I think there is a very real possibility that splinter groups will always exist.
