Dear Bioacoustics,

The Smooth Ridge hydrophone [
http://www.mbari.org/underwater-microphone-provides-tantalizing-new-perspective-on-monterey-bay/
] picked up some pretty unusual clicks first couple of days of this
month.

Examples have been posted to:

Unlike most clicks we work with, these are actually very much
human-audible, center frequency around 1kHz. Lower than Cachalot even.
As such, I really have no idea what would be making clicks like these.

Has anyone seen/heard clicks like this before? Comments?

Sincerely,

Mark Fischer
