Hi CASPERites, There are high winds and dry weather forecast in California, and as a result the electricity to Berkeley is likely to be shut off for an extended period over the next ~5 days. This is a precautionary measure taken by the power company to prevent overhead cables starting fires.
As a result, you may find you can't reach the old casper wiki at casper.ssl.berkeley.edu . Our various readthedocs pages, and the main casper.berkeley.edu landing page should still keep working (god bless The Cloud). All bets are off as to whether the berkeley-hosted CASPER mail list continues to function. Hopefully normal service will be resumed in a few days. Apologies for the inconvenience.
