two kinds, the long coat and the short coat. So exactly what are you looking

Hi group. I'm hoping to get a chihuahua sometime in the next 2-3 
months. I understand I may need to reserve one now. The problem is 
that I can't seem to get a single word of mouth reference for a 
reputable breeder. (Only one for a breeder of teacups, which isn't 
what we're looking for) Anyone know of real honest to goodness breeder 
in the Houston (and surrounding areas)? I mean, the paper is full of 
folks selling them off but I can even see in the pictures some of them 
post that their place is (ahem) less than ideal. Anyone? I've already 
begun collecting chihuahua gear and knitting tiny sweaters!
