Can you post the exact and complete console screen output which printerdrake
gives now?

Can you also update your kernel to 2.4.22-9mdk, as the older kernels are
somewhat broken on USB. Note that the automatic Cooker update ("urpmi.update -a;
urpmi --autoselect") DOES NOT update the kernel. Please do not forget to reboot
after the kernel update and check with "uname -a" whether the correct kernel has
booted.

I just added a HP PSC 1210 muti-funtion printer to my system.  Every time I run
printerdrake, it adds another instance of that model to the list of printers. 
So if I run it three times, I get a list of three HP PSC 1210's connected to my
system.
