Please, create an user in alioth (alioth.debian.org), and ask to join the
pkg-kde team (http://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-kde). i'll acept you in
the team and you'll be able to make commits in our SVN (we use subversion to
keep the changes we do in debian/).

Yes, i agree that the best is start working inside the team for the next 
upload. 
We only need export the current debian/ in the SVN and start working there.
The only change needed to consider the package team maintained is set 
Debian KDE Extras Team <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
in the MAintainer field adding the people who usually works in the package as
Uploaders. Also you can keep yourself as maintainer and just add the team mail
in Uploaders.
