My situation is that I'm "nothing" in Debian. I only have an alioth account. So I don't know how is easy collaborating on svn/git. So my 1st idea is going on by mail, agreeing about a method, then go ahead. But of course if solutions exist to have svn/git easily, I agree if Peter and you think it's useful. So far I discover Debian's world and rules (from dev point of view) and I've to know it's not easy to understand processes and infrastructure now I know to package. So I stay opened for every proposal.
