Not if OpenRC gets enough attention from the porters. We could completely get rid of sysv-rc scripts, switch to Upstart or Systemd, and still have OpenRC as a backup solution for compatibility with our non-linux ports. OpenRC has a declarative language as well avoiding the huge sysv-rc init scripts.
