Uhhh, while I can understand the significance of the difference if one wanted to modify the unit, from a practical performance aspect, what's the difference between internal interference and noise? Am I missing something? To everyone else, I'm still hoping that someone can estimate the typical noise factor/noise figure for a HF setup and can provide some idea of what threshold the noise performance of a sound card is of no practical importance.
