Simon, The default here in South Carolina NAVY MARS is also 500 Hz. They use fldigi or MixW, or Pawel's program, and like to adhere to the standards in any event.
What I don't really understand is how you can successfully use a center frequency of 1500 HZ with a 2000 Hz-wide MT63 signal.
