The Lacawac Sanctuary and Biological Field Station is a nature preserve, ecological field research station and public environmental education facility located in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. We are in need of help with our science programming for children *this July*. Responsibilities include carrying out environmental education programming in conjunction with our camp director. Additional information is provided below. Lacawac will provide an hourly wage, free lodging and reimbursement for all clearances.
*July 18-22: Wee-scope Habitat Discoveries* 9 am - 1 pm daily, ages 5-6 Children will explore the habitats at Lacawac Sanctuary using nets, bug boxes and other hands-on methods. Each day focuses on a different habitat as campers discover the plants and animals that live there. *July 25-29: Wildernuts Eco-explorations* 9 am - 4 pm daily, ages 7-8 Campers will be immersed in a week of nature explorations.
