Ed,

I have tried for a few years to come up with a good setting for the NB 
that does not degrade FT8 performance.  If you find one, please share 
it.  It seems that any combination of settings I use, reduces the FT8 
decode ability greatly for low level signals.  The net is a minus in 
decoding ability with the NB on.  I have a very loud set of 
horticultural lights in my area, about a block away, as the source.  My 
noise level has been reduced lately to only S6...
