My stepbrother was in building 2 working out when the first one hit; he
felt the shock but didn't know what was going on until his wife called
him on his cell. He said, "OK, I'm getting out of here right now".
That was the last we heard of him until late this evening; he walked all
the way to his home in New Jersey.
To those of you in New Zealand and elsewhere who are sending your best
wishes, thank you, friends.
To those who think that this attack has gained them anything - you have
forgotten Pearl Harbor.

I'm writing from New Zealand and was woken at 2:30 this morning from a
phone call from the UK (15:30 GMT). I watched the horror unfold on the
BBC WorldService.
I'm gutted. What has happened wouldn't be believed if shown on the
silver screen.
I have been reading the posts on the list and it offers valuable
information. Please continue to be our eyes and ears for the forthcoming
hours.
Could I respectfully request that 'normal' postings are kept to a
minimum. I'm sure there is more important things to be said.
