I understand your English fine, just don't agree with your statement:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] stew]$ cat /etc/mandrake-release
Mandrake Linux release 9.1 (Bamboo) for ppc
[EMAIL PROTECTED] stew]$ gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk)

It's PPC, but the versions are the same as x86.
