I notice my general journal only goes back to the beginning of Octuber. Transactions from September don't show. A search by date doesn't find any transactions earlier than October either. Is there a setting I'm overlooking to include everything in the general journal?
Also, when I search the general journal the results are shows in the same journal, not in another register. Don't know how to get the general journal back to showing all the transactions. I just close it and open the general journal again from the tools menu. Is there a better way? Something I'm not doing correctly in the search criteria window?
