Interesting.

I’m noticing this too on 2.6.18 on El Capitan.

I rarely use the General Ledger, so I can’t say if it provided more history in 
the past or not.

Personally, I enter everything directly in accounts anyway (save for business 
features) and can always see the full history for that account. I would think 
the ledger either should have a limit, or have a specified date range.
