To bring the thread current... I tried installing an amd64 deb file for version 3.3.2 and got an install error message.
I tried installing an amd64 deb file for version 2.6.15-1 and was successful, but unfortunately my data files are from 3.3 and are not compatible, says i need version 2.6.19 or higher I tried installing an amd64 ubuntu deb file for version 3.2-1 and got an install error message.
