David, Having a 25-1-22.gnucash.LCK.gcm suggests that you might have tried to open 25-1-22.gnucash.LCK instead of 25-1-22.gnucash at some point. That obviously won't work as there's nothing in a lock file. You might also have a 25-1-22.gnucash.LCK.LCK in the folder with your book file. You should delete that as well.
